SEA Support services are recruiting Support Workers to work with deaf clients.

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a friendly 56-year-old gentleman living in Preston. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s daily life while building a meaningful working relationship.
About the Person You’ll Support
You’ll be working with a warm and friendly gentleman who is a BSL user and has autism. He values clear communication, consistency, and a supportive approach to daily living. He’s looking for someone who can work alongside him with patience, understanding, and genuine respect for his independence.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will include providing practical support with:
- Meal planning, preparation and support during mealtimes
- Communication support, including BSL (or willingness to learn)
- Assistance with travel and getting out into the community
- Support with household tasks and maintaining his home
- Helping him engage with activities he enjoys
- Promoting independence and person-centred support

- Salary Range: £12.60-£14.86 per hour
- Hours of work: Full time 37 hours per week. Part time will be considered. Flexible working hours to include evenings, weekend and public holidays according to the needs of the service. Sleep-in are available and paid in addition to contracted hours.
